A few people have asked about the difference of flying into Tucson vs Phoenix, Arizona. Here are our thoughts:
Phoenix will have more flights which might allow for a more flexible travel schedule. I believe the general cost difference between Phoenix and Tucson is $40-$60. It will be a 2.5 hour drive down door-to-door from the Phoenix airport to the eastside of Tucson. Its a very easy drive-straight down on the 10 freeway. The plus side of renting a car out of Phoenix airport may be a lower cost as it's a bigger market.
We suggest that if you are only coming Friday through Sunday to just fly into Tucson. If you can afford the cost difference you may appreciate the weekend better since you will have more time to explore our little city.
Transportation to/from the wedding venues is not coordinated as of right now. We are looking into valet services for the reception however I won't have information on that until closer to the date. We strongly suggest that as families get clear who will be coming out that you look into renting bigger, family friendly vehicles.
