4 Days Until the Wedding!

Hi Friends and Family,

Today's post is an update on parking.  We have hired the services of a personal valet driver for the wedding weekend.  Due to the steepness of our driveway, we will keep one of our cars for shuttling anyone who doesn't feel comfortable walking down back and forth.  Thank you for your consideration.

Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Reception
The valet stand will be at the top of our driveway off  East Ponce De Leon.  Please pull up, get your keys tagged, and leave your car with the insured driver.  So you know, all cars will be securely parked on the adjacent ranch - our neighbors were kind enough to let us use their space.   Please DO NOT leave valuables or purses in your car.

Driving Directions
The surface streets in our neighborhood barely fit two cars driving past each other. It is for this reason we respectfully request you follow the below directions to the residence.
-Head East on Tanque Verde.
-Turn Left at Catalina Highway.
-Pass both stop signs.  It will take you about 8-10 minutes to get up Catalina Highway.  Please be mindful of your driving speed as coyotes, javelina pigs, and mule deer generally frequent this area and sometimes cross the street without notice.  We suggest that after the second stop sign that you drive the next 4-5 minutes slower since if you pass the turnoff you will be stuck going up to Mt. Lemmon.
-GPS systems will guide you to turn right onto Mt. Lemmon Short. PLEASE DISREGARD AND FOLLOW OUR DIRECTIONS.
-Just past Mt. Lemmon Short road on the right will be the entrance to our community-Milagrosa Hills.  You will see a sign that says "Eckhoff-Palmas Residence" at the turn.  If you miss this turn then you will be stuck on the road heading up to Mt. Lemmon and will need to turn around.
-Follow this newly paved road up the semi-steep hill.
-Coming to a "T" in the road, the "Eckhoff-Palmas Residence" sign will direct you to turn Right onto E Ponce De Leon.  If you look right, that is our property.
-Pull up to the valet and check in.

Coat Check
We have a self serve coat check in the house to the right side in Joel's study.  Our guests include only close friends and family so we assume things will be safe.  For guests that will not be able to change during the break between the mass and reception (perhaps you are sightseeing or getting a cocktail somewhere in between), a closet will be provided if you would like to change at the house. Please keep in mind that we are requesting that guests arrive at 5:30 pm. or later for the reception to accommodate our catering preparation.  Dark jeans or slacks, a dressy shirt, sweater or light jacket are the suggested attire for the wedding reception.

Comfort
We have noticed an influx of nighttime bug "companions" in the recent week due to the monsoons.  We are doing all that we can to tame the environment. Bug spray will be provided for your use as needed and for our guests that suffer from outdoor allergies, some medicine to keep allergies at bay is recommended.
